Thank you for your interest in registering for organisation access to the HPAC service platform. Our platform offers privileged access to a wealth of resources designed to enhance your operational efficiency and compliance.
CQC, the Disclosure and Barring Service, the National Police Chiefs' Council and NHS Safeguarding recognise the Health Practice Associates Council register in supporting the safe recruitment of non-paramedic ambulance clinicians.
Organisation access
Why register?
By registering with HPAC, your organisation can link with registrants, gaining access to detailed profiles that include qualifications, live DBS information (monitored for changes daily), statutory and mandatory compliance and more. Access is granted only when registrants accept your organisation's association request, ensuring GDPR compliance.
Our platform quickly alerts your organisation to verified safeguarding concerns raised by associated third parties, including NHS trusts and independent, voluntary and law enforcement organisations. You will be linked with intelligence from a national safeguarding network, enhancing public safety and reducing liability exposure.
With the registrant's permission, organisations can link to their HPAC registration and will subsequently receive immediate notifications of fitness to practise reviews, suspensions, removals and DBS status changes. Linked organisations are also notified if a driver is removed from HPAC's blue light driver register following licence suspension, driving disqualification, seven or more penalty points or voluntary deregistration.

Billing
Your access fees are billed on a rolling 12-month basis from your organisation's registration date or on a cancel-anytime monthly basis. Fees increase annually on 29 April by UK CPI plus 2.5%. Changes may also occur for other reasons, and we will provide advance notice. However, we do not expect this now that we have established a regular date for our annual price change.

How to register
If you are interested in accessing the Health Practice Associates Council organisation portal and working with us to influence and shape the future provision of industry-related services, please complete and submit the online application form. Once your organisation is set up, you can also purchase volume licences to sponsor staff members.
Commitment to standards
Organisations that provide medical services will work towards phasing all their clinical staff within the scope of HPAC grades onto the register. This commitment helps your organisation ensure that your staff meet HPAC standards, providing assurance to the public, service users and other stakeholders.
