Kate Morrissey


Kate Morrissey is the Regional Head of Health and Justice for the East of England at NHS England, as well as the Women’s Health Specialist Advisor to the Women's Justice Partnership Delivery Group. She has led national initiatives, including healthcare in Immigration Removal Centres and the implementation of RECONNECT services, supporting care transitions from custody. Kate has also served as the Mental Health Programme Lead for custodial services and championed patient and public voice in secure settings.

With extensive experience in commissioning and managing high-value NHS and Public Health contracts, Kate has worked across community, prison, and immigration settings. She is a strong advocate for workforce equity and has led on inclusive workforce development across secure and justice healthcare. Kate has delivered a TEDxNHS talk on rehabilitation. She also serves as a volunteer on the Health Practice Associates UK panel, overseeing quality assurance.
